Are you ready to explore the deepest parts of space with the highly conscience rhythms of Cali Kula? This newest collection on the Kawkab Achark EP is a mix of dark, untamed, explorative and uber deep house, made for any space travelers’ sound track or playlist.

On your mission of space exploration and self discovery the first track, Kawkab Achark, is truly where this ep takes off! It hits the boosters directly into a 4/4 with ethereal vibes guiding its groove. The bounce on this comes from its bubbly bassline, and those shuffled ghost notes give it movement. The first synth stabs are galactic! They swirl around you, surrounding you like shining stars, becoming quicker in repetition. As the stabs subside, your journey through the cosmos has you floating above that bassline groove. Deepness in space never sounded so good.

The 2nd track on this ep, is Weired Cosmos. Just like infinite space itself, It plays no games. Cali Kula ups the tempo for its final track, and your attention is immediately drawn into its sub bass, it is what keeps the tracks’ flow moving. A Chicago vibe and feel emerges from the snappy style snare work, while the celestial synths keep the vibe otherworldly. Interseller intensity is felt through its ebbs and flows of planetary peaks and progressions.

Riadha, the 3rd and 5th track on the release share two experiences. The “early version” is like a ‘test flight. It has the foundational essences of the track, more spread out, and minimal in its feel’ compared to the self titled mix, which feels like the actual exploration mission itself. Both are big and heavy right from the start. There is a certain satisfaction of a super warm, underlying bassline, allowing you to feel the embrace it gives. Intelligently placed spoken word drops, along side its deep tones will keep you groovin on any space walk you take.

“El Omma,” is where you ignite your engines, and prepare for blast off. Its where it all begins, your source of creativity, your inspiration. The start of your journey feels welcome; with a fatty bassline, crisp hats and percussion, joined by some quaint stabs… you want more. The cockpit starts to rattle and shake, as you flip switches on the control board. Shuffled rhythms are now rockin’ underneath. You hear a message repeating in your ears as you launch….as you break through your atmosphere into space, sounds echo and reverb, until you see lights flash across your vessel. Wondrous 303 sounds are like small shooting stars across the cosmos, taking you to your next jump spot.
